just got a comp cams magnum with some surface rust

ok i just got a comp cams magnum cs 270h-10 part #12-211-1 and the big lobes have some surface rust because the cam was sitting for so long never installed just in the box and i was wondering the best way to remove the rust? i also wanted to know if there is anything about this cam that i should know about before i install it thanks

I have used 000 steelwool and LOTS of elbow grease... Like Red posted...oil and steel wool... MAKE sure you clean the cam spotless! fine pieces of steel wool every where...

Good luck. Popeye... elbow grease makes killer forearms!
