So ive searched the boards and have gotten ideas but i have a question. Let me start off with when it all started a few weeks ago. There was a minor fire from the battery to the alternator. so i rewired the alternato and had to replace the positive cable on the battery, now when i took off the old positive there was a sensor? on it that wasnt on the new one. So i taped it off. Well since that day the car has been giving me a problem starting and when i drive and come to a stop the car starts idleing really low and the car starts shaking and depending how long i sit stalls. another thing i noticed is low oil pressure but when i step on the gas it goes up. And then today i started it was cleaning off the snow, and it stalled out. I started it back up and then turned it off and now it wont start. Just cranks until the battery is drained.
Sorry for the long post, any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Do you have a picture of the sensor?
The electrical tape in the picture is covering the sensor

It's just your ECM power wire. Not too important. . .

Oh man haha i feel like an idiot, how would you recommended about getting that hooked back up? should i splice the cables and connect them?
