Battery hold down?
I've always heard its bad to not have your battery bolted down...but what does it actually do and is it actually necessary?......mine's been just sittin where the tray should be since i bought it..

Holds down the battery, nothing too complex lol. They sell hold downs at autozone fore like $4. Id go buy one just to be safe.

lol thats it? what are we scared about...the battery jumpin right out of the car when you hit a speed bump?

Normal driving, you could drive around like you said all summer and be fine. But if you have to stop short or swurve out of the way to avoid a stupid driver your battery might get knocked around. Short out on another piece of metal... worst case...? For the money and the time it takes, its silly not to mount it right.
