random question

are there any plugs out there that you all have noticed an improvement from or does it really matter which ones you use? I grew up with my dad always using ac delco but didn't know if another would be better

Re: random question

Back when I had my 355 I changed out to more types of plugs than I care to remember, never noticed anything other than a lighter wallet in many cases. Always ended up going back to the cheapie delco's. They just work. The cheaper Bosch's get suggested quite a bit as well - they're shorter which is nice for header clearance (IIRC).

Actually, if you are anticipating having trouble with header clearance, you can try angle plugs:

But seriously, any good standard plug should be suitable, so long as the electrode position is correct, reach is correct, and heat range is correct. Even the stock plugs can be wrong for a modified engine, so consider the installation. Champion makes good plugs, NGK makes good plugs. Autolite is a commodity brand, made to be sold, not used. These are the same people who offer the Fram line of products, so consider the source.
