results after battery relocation

Ive ben toying with the idea of relocating my battery to the trunk for some better weight transfer. I want some experiencies from people who have done this and saw/or didnt see improvements. Basically what I'm trying to get at, is if it is worth it or not. Thanks

Re: results after battery relocation

The relocation will not net you anything noticeable at the track. It is however a great way to make more room in the engine bay if needed. IMO there are easier ways to pick up the small amount of time it may or may not gain you.

If you relocate to the trunk and you run your car at the track check with local track rules. I moved my battery back up front to pass tech because the local track runs by NHRA requirements. That means an external cut off switch on the back of the car(in the bumper or tail lights) and a battery box. I just couldn't put a hole in a set of 91-92 TA tail lights or a hole in the bumper either.

Re: results after battery relocation

i put mine in the back for a bit better balance and to clean the bay up - only draw back is ruining new wires drilling wholes and at least for me reconfiguring a new wiring block
