Electric pump help

I cant seem to get the manual pump to work so I got a in-line electric pump its a airtex master #E8012S and it says should be wired to oil press switch. So how do I do this since not using ECM?

Re: Electric pump help

Do you still have the fuel pump relay? What year/model is the car?

Re: Electric pump help

Its a 1991 camaro RS that had the 3.1V6 FI. I put in a chevy 350 4bolt main with a holley 600. I removed the in tank fuel pump and extended the pick up tube on the sending unit. I also removed the canister line and plugged the line on the sending unit for that and the return that I am not using. So besides running the fuel line to the manual pump thats all I have done to it.

Re: Electric pump help

take the grn/wht wire, or wahtever wire is connected to the "C" terminal of the fuel pump relay and connect it to the pink ignition wire, or whatever wire is hot only in the run/start key position. Then connect your pump to the hot wire that powered the in tank pump. The relay will work in parallel with the oil pump switch which is already connected to the fuel pump circuit.

Re: Electric pump help

This engine hasn't seen fire in the holes yet, right?
