Blue smoke overnight
152,000 miles 91 L98. I never saw a spec of blue oil coming out of this thing. I ran some seafoam through a vacuum line and some in the fuel tank, (did not put any in crankcase) and now I get puffs of blue smoke from the exhaust when I rev. I don't get a big cloud on cold startup however. I took the seafoamed gasoline from the gas tank and filled up with fresh gas and let the car run for awhile and the blue smoke still isn't going away.
PS - I didn't notice any difference after the seafoam. All I know is my car didn't make blue smoke before and now it does and I'm not happy about it. Will this go away in time after the treatment? I was just about to take this thing it for a smog, but I can't now because I cant have blue smoke puking out for the smog test.
I've also recently changed the oil, I put in 10W30 and I don't know what was in there before, first time I changed the oil in this car.

Valve seals were my first thought too, my 305 did it. Didn't mention it because he said it only occured after he put seafoam into the vacuum lines, which I believe route into the intake manifold, so it shouldn't have affected the valves seals.

How much run time do you have since doing the Seafoam treatment? You might need to get on the freeway and do a good blow out on it.

Yup. I'm sure Darkshot has been to a Monument Car Parts. I worked there a couple years in wholesale, and the delivery trucks were terrible. I Seafoamed one of the trucks and the bastard smoked for 4 days.

Great chain.I seafoamed it and got a bunch of white smoke. Then the white smoke stopped. Then the blue smoke came.
It also correlated with an oil change. I'm wondering if somebody along the line dumped some thick oil in there, and when I put my 10W30 in it started burning it.
