%^$* holley regulators
ok guys i been threw 3 freekn holley fuel pressure regulators that summit sells. they will NOT seal at all. ive used teflon paste and tape. the leak on all the ports in the regulator. i got a dual feed one and it sucks. anybody know how to fix it or should i get a new one?

Thats odd. I probably use the same one you have and have had no trouble with it. For starters keep in mind you dont want to use teflon tape because gas eats it. Second the regulator is designed with pipe treads (i think 3/8 NPT?) are you sure your using the correct adapters?

i havent heard that eihter. anybody kno how to quiet down an electric inline pump> its insanely loud

I could be mistaken but i believe i remeber reading it in one of hollys instructions that came with a fuel line kit. Its been a while ill have to check again but im pretty sure the spelled out specifically no teflon tape on fuel fittings. Now i know theres a yellow vertion of teflon tape specifically designed for gasoline applications and the teflon paste is ok but my understanding is regular white teflon tape is a big no no for applications where it will come in contact with gas.
