ideal stroker motor questions
i built my first motor last year piecing together what i thought was gonna be a nice motor but ending up selling the top end this winter and now im getting ready to start ordering new parts. i have a 383 stroker motor with fully forged internals and 13:1 compression. i heard i could run e 85 in this combination and that would be my first question...what exactly do i need to run e 85 in this motor and what do i need to watch out for. id also like to put out some pretty good numbers out of this motor so some advice on cam and head combos would be appreciated. i have a built th400 trans i have to buy a new stall converter this year it was tiny last year (2000) i also have a moser 9" with 3:73 gears. i wanna drive this thing on the streets and be able to enjoy the money i spent but i also want to be a competitor at the strip with that ill wait for responses and answer any questions thanks for the input

Re: ideal stroker motor questions
Quick fuel makes a good E-85 carb. I like the GM fastburn heads and AFR heads. I would call Comp Cams to recomend a grind.
