Could use a quick response for a 7165 ECM???
If I order a replacement 7165 ECM will it come complete with PROM and CPU or do you have to purchase these seperate? Kind of a stupid question, but does reference to the ECM include the PROM and CPU or just the ECM body? I mean you can change these chips out so I assume if you order a 7165 ECM replacement it will come pre-programmed (with PROM) for my 88 305 TPI right?

No, I think they only come with the computer part. You have to supply your own prom.
