Checked the codes. Code 32 EGR and Code 12 Speed Sensor. Could the Speed sensor cause the code 32 since the EGR relies on the VSS to work properly????? And any idea which sensor the GTA has? The parts stores show 2 different ones. One at $65 and the other at double that. And the EGR... I just reassembled the top end and would hate to pull it back apart!! It runs very good. No driveability or idle problems which leads me to believe a VSS problem. And my speedo works fine all the time. So I am a little confused as to the actual problem. ECM ??? HELP...

read over this, about half way gets into sensors and what controls it. and i had that egr code set off last week, cleaned the everlivin out of it with brake cleaner and hasnt set off the code since then. http://sethirdgen.org/egr.htm

 

32 Egr - Also could be a vacuum leak. Check with carb cleaner engine will make a noticeable noise if you have one.
