cars a p.o.s

went down to start my car and itll run fun, then ill reeve it up and the tach will go to the reeveing rpm, i let off and then car dies. whats goin on here? i instlled an ignition box but it works like it should. im still reading 6 psi on my fuel pressure gauge, so i think its not fuel related. also its got an electric pump if that helps. any ideas? thanks

Re: cars a p.o.s

Sounds like it's not warmed up yet.
If you push the gas pedel down that releases the
choke and then it can and will stall.

Re: cars a p.o.s

You not giving much info, do you have a carb? F.I.? Usually that sounds like a choke adjustment on a carb. car. Or if it's hot it may be lots of things. If it's injected the pressure is WAY low.

just like every sbc they need to be warmed up or they will die raise your choke that should help I have to stall mine about 1500 rpm for a couple minuets in the morning and let it warm up after the first warm up she's usually good to go
