Car: 1981 Gmc seirra grande , 84 z 28

Engine: truck- Custom 350 Car-built vortec

Transmission: th350 700r4

Axle/Gears: stock

84 z28 camaro engine and tranny swap Speedo cable??? help!!

hey i just got a 84 z28 and the dude that previously owned it swapped a vortec 350 into it with a 700r4 tranny and the speedometer doesnt work, i have no idea what to even look at i tried tightening the cable but that didnt fix it help please!!!?

Next check to see if there's a driven gear in place (the end of the speedo cable should mate with this piece in order to turn the cable).
