temp problem

so today i drove my car for about 20min on the highway and noticed my temp was 110 degrees but the heat was blasting on me then i pulled over waited a few min and the temp went up to normal then once i started driving withing 5 min went back down to 100

just a fair warning..... our cars run at 200* normally

fan switch stock operates at 210* i believe, nothing to worry about lol youre not driving a 4 banger, 4 more cylinders equal 4 more detonations

not an issue lol

so what do you thinks wrong when i turn the key to start the needle jumps up and at idle it reaches normal temp but emidiately drop withing 5 min of driving so do you think its the coolant temp sensor or maybe the guage is taking a ****

sounds like my car. its the extra air moving over the engine/radiator cooling it down, doesn't sound like a problem to me

its just our cars your gauges are what? 20 years old at this point i hookup up a tech 1 on mine and the cts was reading to them ecm at 210* closed loop but the gauge was pegged

i installed an after market gauge the goes into the cts spot it reads dead on 200* when idling, then 180* at cruisin speeds.

the temp change is normal
