Hey guys My dads 86 Iroc-z with a 305 tpi is having a little trouble. it has 42,000 miles and its having a problem when, you proceed to stop, the car will die for no apparent reason.

A Scenario is When you come up to a stop light, slow down using the brakes, it will just stall. after playing with it for about an hour of tinkering with it we did notice that when the Rpms get low, (750-1000), the voltage on the car drops from around 13-11 volts quickly and the lights dim. It has never had this problem before. We were thinking it may be the battery, Alternator, fuel pump or fuel filter starving the engine.

Any Ideas?
