Do you you have +12V at the injectors? Is it a VATS equipped car?

VATS is the security system. Is there a flashing "SECURITY" light when you try to start it? VATS can keep the injectors from firing. Do a search on it here. Each bank is fed +12 by separate fuses. The ECM ground the injectors to fire them.

Re: injectors not firing

Im having a similar problem, injectors not pulsing. BUT I have 12v to BOTH injector wires with key on. What pick up are you refering to on the distributor?

First I'd unplug and replug the connectors a couple times. The pickup coil is under the rotor. You have to take the dist out and the gear off to change it. Not that big a deal really. Make sure you mark where both the base and rotor are pointing to before you pull it. I'd change the module too if you're in there. They are both pretty cheap parts. Also make sure there isn't a lot of play in the shaft before you waste your money on parts.

Could be a bad harness or ECM too, but less likely.

Re: injectors not firing

would a bad pickup explain why I have 12v on at both injector wires?

You should have 12V at all the injector connectors when it's not running. The ECM fires them by grounding the other pin.

Re: injectors not firing

so the pickup should be the most likely issue?
