head and cam suggestions

looking for a good head and cam combo for a fresh 350 bored .040 running stock 1.94s with a 76cc as of now with a comp ratio of 8.5-1. made 300hp and 360ft. lbs. on dyno. looking to make 400. i would like to keep the power band pretty low though like a peak of under 6,000 rpm. 750 demon carb and holley dominator intake. cam is 234 duration @.050 and .488" lift intake and exhaust. i'd like to keep the same cam and intake if i can reach the numbers i want but if not oh well.

ya i've heard a lot of talk about those but which ones 180cc's 195cc's or the 210cc's. and from what i've seen in jeg's anyway they come in a 75cc combustion chamber so i'll still have the low 8.5-1

Re: head and cam suggestions

well any head would be an improvement over those boat anchors... if you want cheap i would say Vortecs would get you there even with a the price of a new intake it would be cheaper than a set of AFRs.. and that would free up some money for a new comp XR270 or if flat tappet XE274H10
