Engine trouble NEED HELP

Hey i have a 1985 pontiac firebird trans am With the 305 tpi engine. I have put a new distributor cap, rotor, coil pack, spark plug wires and spark plugs. I put them in the right firing order and it still wont start or it will start but wont idle. You guy got any ideas that could be causing this?

Does it turn over? Maybe a fuel or battery problem some where.

Depends how the spark plug wires are run. Its got a new battery, alanator, fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel pump filter, and fuel pump wiring harness.
