No more than 15 psi. I didn't bleed mine. No troubles.

u need to open end wrenches, ones a 5/8 fitting on the line and the other is a 3/4 on the filter. turn counter clockwise form each other to break the line fitting lose from the filter. Make sure you clamp the rubber hose going from the tank to the filter line otherwise it will just keep flowing out. then undo the line fitting from the filter and pull the filter out then put the new one in and repeat the steps. fittings donw need to be really tight just give them a lil snug on the wrench when they wont tighten any further.

Re: Anything i should know before hand???? Please help

I see you have a 305 tbi like I do on my 88 and you say you're jacking up your camaro to get to your fuel filter so I assume it's on the rear crossmember or somewhere close to that on your vehicle. Is the filter on the same location on my 88 IROC? I noticed something that looks just like the replacement fuel filter I bought but shorter and thinner a little under the distributor cap and toward the driver's side of my car. Is that it? If not, what is that thing?

Mine's a tbi. I'll check where you said yours was. Thanks. I was getting ready to take that item off on top of my engine near the firewall and then thought better of it. I just wonder what that is...
