roller rockers
I have a question about roller rockers. I want to install a set on my car. got a good deal on a set of crane roller rockers. I got home and started looking at them and they all have the number c163 except 2 of them the other two are l407 and H483. now my question is what do those numbers mean i went to crane's web site and could not find anything about those part numbers. are they a stamp of what they fit or are they a number for when they were made. they look to be the same the same stud hole and length.
also with these types of rockers can i put them on my studs and run them or do i need to put in guide plates and screw in studs?
thanks for any info.

Re: roller rockers
the only thing i know is they are for 7/16 studs. I tried them with a bolt and the 7/16 bolt is perfect. so i don't know if they are self aligning or not. if anyone knows how to tell.

Re: roller rockers
If you look at the roller tip, it will have small lips on either side of the tip, those hold themselves to the spring retainer. Those are self aligning.
