Vacuum Leak

Hey I just got my car running and I think there is a vacuum leak but I don't know where it is, there is a hissing noise and it sounds like it is coming from inside the carburetor, but it won't stay running without the gas being put on it some. Any info on where this is coming from or why it won't stay running? thanks

Re: Vacuum Leak

whats the idle set at? you might just need to raise the idle up a little. alot of times you here a slight hiss from the air flowing past the throttle blades at idle.

Re: Vacuum Leak

Tried that already, it's not like a little gas to keep it going, it's quite a lot, I kept it running for like 10-20 minutes and then it was idling fine, so idk what the problem is.
