im using a passenger side top mounted altenator and stock location powersteering pump, which JEGS aluminum mechanical water pump do i buy? long or short?

serp or v belt? serp usually runs a reverse rotation water pump!!!
on the water pump if you can fit your fingers behind the water pump and in front of the timing chain cover its a long pump if not its a short pump

 

i thought only motors like the LT1 used the reverse water pump, hum learn something new everyday

and importeater, although a serpentine drive turns the waterpump the opposite way, the flow of the coolant is still the same. LT based engines have a reverse flow of coolant. so the heads get the coolant first as opposed to having the coolant go in the bottom, like in ours
