Re: lighter weight
notchback will remove over a hundred pounds, but it will take it off the back, which is bad and they look pretty bad on camaros... id get the lexan glass if you are serious about it, but it wont hold up to daily abuse
tubular k member (if you can find one for a v6) and a arms
manual rack and pinion steering
fiberglass hood
lightweight wheels and tires
remove carpet
remove back seats
remove any padding under carpet
remove ac
remove any power options you may have
replace any iron parts with aluminum (water pump, heads, i think thats it)
get a ls motor (lighter than a iron v6 IIRC)
remove bumper supports in front of radiator

Re: lighter weight
i dont have a v6... i have the 305. a side point really.. i will most likely be building the 305. lol.. this alone should get some responses. JUST DROP IN AN LT or LS engine... i KNOW okay!!!! so be quiet with the engine swap crap. just saying that it has a v8 in it already.
and what about tubular chassis ... ? yes serious money but i still want some feedback.
