Rust in the Tank (reuseable?)
I just bought a 92 rs and wasn't getting any juice to the pump so when i dropped the tank it looked like red paint. There is rust in the tank, Is there a way to clean it out? Is it reuseable? what are my option, besides buy a new one.

Re: Rust in the Tank (reuseable?)
I had this issue and unless you can find a very good radiator shop that can boil out the tank and get all the rust out(which is unlikely),get another tank. Donot buy the OEM replacement built by Spectra(it is a POS). Find a good original tank from another car and inspect it thourghly and use one of those. Since you are in my area check the South Central Classifieds or post asking for a OEM tank. That's how I got mine. Also, check out the upcoming meet in July on the S.Cen.Area section at Bear Creek Park.
