ne problems

I recently posted some of my TPI issues, today I ohmed my injectors cold and at operating temp. The resistance measurement was the same range on all injectors 12.5-12.8 ohms, hot and cold. These are not the original injectors, but they are rochester injectors I believe are for a 93 up LT1 (24 lbs), i cant seem to see a part # on them. What should the resistance be? Also when I unplug the #3 injector the car runs smoother, if I unplug any other injector it runs rougher, any ideas? Im thinking the injectors are bad because when the car gets hot it won't start and it has plenty of fuel at the rail. I usually have to wait about 20-30 minutes then it will fire up again. Please help I'm lost.........If it makes a difference Im running a stock chip from a 90 Iroc 5.7 TPI.

Re: ne problems

It may have a leakng or streaming injector. Try performing a complete power balance test with the injectors, and use a good tachometer instead of the dash mounted piece.

The stock injectors pull a total of 6amp @ 16ohms versus 8amps @ 12ohms, not a problem for the fuses, but may be for the ECM injector drivers.
