Concerns on fresh rebuild which has sat for months!!!
Steve and I rebuilt the SBC sometime last year (maybe around Septemberish?) and had it running for maybe a total of 40 minutes, maybe. So the thing didn't even get broken in all the way. The car needed some electrical gremlins and starter issues fixed so it sat for a month while I could do the repairs. One month turned into two and then some serious condensation fried my dizzy module (I think...) so it has sat all this time until I finally want to get back at it.
The old oil has still been sitting in the pan which I'm about to go drain.
Is there anything I should be concerned with when I get a new dizzy and try to fire this thing up again?
For some reason I am concerned there might be rust built up inside the motor due to sitting so long without oil circulation and heavy condensation levels.

I think you will be ok. If you are going to have your distributor out, it wouldnt hurt to re-prime it again, though.
