new fuel and brake lines size

im putting on all new fuel and brake lines on. the car was a MPFI v6 now its a 383 carb with mechanical pump so should i get a new fuel line size? i think the stock fuel lines are 3/8 and the brake lines are 5/16? and what would be the best material aluminum lines, steel, stainless steel, or blue and red anodized aluminum. i just dont want the lines looking rusty or oxidized after a month its a nice wheater only show car.

Re: new fuel and brake lines size

" a nice WHEATER only show car" ??????? a 3/8 fuel line will support a modest 383, and why are you playing with the size of the brake lines? The stock size is fine no matter what you've done.
