Oil Pressure gauge

In the morning my oil presure gauge is near 60, once it warms up and I drive a little it drops down by 30. When I come to a stop it goes under 30. Is this a sign of my oil pump going out? 305/80k original miles.

Re: Oil Pressure gauge

Those oil pumps are almost never the problem. Most likely is the gauge itself, probably the sender. But as long as you have at least 15 psi at hot idle, no worries.
