Engine: 358 tpi

Transmission: 700r4 with transpack

Axle/Gears: 3.42 with powertrax

should iac throw a code?

i unplugged my iac to help diagnose my ideling problem and iv been driving around for about 2 days now and iv noticed my check engin light hasnt came on shouldnt it show a code being unplugged and driving around and starting in all differant situations?Im thinking my problem is in the ecm and thqats why i unplugged it to see if it would trigger a code.
