Here is todays rookie question

I whas going to change my valve seals today. But i think i bought the wrong type? Could you help me sort what seals to use?
Its for jegs/canfield 197 sbc heads.

The ones I took of the head looked something like this:

And the top of the valve steam whas threaded, and it looked like the inside of the valve seal also whas threaded.


The seals I bought looked like this:
Seal no:3 in this picture.



Do I need to get other type of seals?
