Cruise control is "jumpy"

Cruise control is "jumpy"

Cruise control on my '88 Iroc with 350, and 5 speed.
It works, but feels "jumpy". Like every few seconds it
accelerates or lets up a bit.
Any ideas?

350/5speed isnt stock right? could be a vac problem somewhere or not enough

I'll check for a vac leak.
Makes sense, as it is inconsistent.
ps- Brennan, you are correct. 350 is swap. 383 now actually.

does it have a big cam? did the problem start after the motor was put in?
