Need help ASAP, it's an emergency.

I can't start my car. I went to turn the key and nothing. No fuel pump prime, nothing. I replaced the relay under the hood and now when I put in the key, and turn it, it's normal but when I go to start it, everything shuts off. What do I do? I'm over 400 miles from home now and I need to know what to check out. Please help.

I would check to see if you are throwing any codes. Check the fuel pump fuse holder, make sure you haven't blown a fuse. Does all electrical shut off when you try to start it? If so you are drawing more amps for some reason than your battery can or is holding.

There are no codes. I tried that. It gave me nothing. All the fuses in the fuse panel in the car are fine. I tested them with a fuse tester and all of them lit up on both sides. I am confused. Please help.

try checking all your major connections, starter(+and-) main ground, all the important stuff.

can you be a little more specific about how "everything shuts off"?
loss of power temporarily
total loss of power
etc

When I say everything shuts off, I mean everything. Dash lights, no power to windows, horn, headlights, locks, everything. It will kick back on after 15 minutes or so but then all it does is light up the dash, and when I go to start, everything goes out.

I have two batteries in the car. Red top under the hood connected to a kinetic in back. Any ideas on how to jump the fusible link? Do I just cut the wires on both sides and add a big piece of wire between the two? I'm running out of ideas.

I'm bumping this cause I still need help. What is that relay connected to on both sides. I'm talking about the relay on the firewall next to the brake booster. I can't seem to find electrical info on this site. Where's the diagram? What do I do now or try and test?

Mine would do the same thing, not all the time just periodically. You turn the key and fuel pump primes and all accesories like stereo and windows work them turn key to start and nothing happens and what did work dies. Replace your ignition switch. its located on top of the column about mid way back. You will have to drop the column. That fixed mine.
