new cam question, what parts should i get?
ok i was reading my usual super chevy mag. and i came across this add for comp cams thumpr cams. looked it up online and want to order it. but i want to get all parts needed to do the swap. here is the link to the specs on the cam
http://www.compcams.com/Cam_Specs/Ca...?csid=107&sb=2
what im asking is what rocker arms, push rod and springs should i use. im getting the kit with lifters so i wont need to order them.. car is mainly street drivin but will see a strip when i get a chance. part numbers or links would help the most thanks for any help

I don't like the Thumper cams. I have heard to many people having problems out of them and the cams not holding up. They are a good sounding cam but lack in preformance. Only way that I would even think about running one is if it was the roller kit which comes with everything you need. So if you are going to put it in a none roller block you would be looking at about $1000 to do it.
