How much can you deck 305 lb9 heads.

I have a 305 tpi.I was wondering how much you can deck the stock lb9 heads without slapping a valve? I would like to up the compression to atleast 9.0:1 is that possible by just decking the heads?

Stock LB9 CR is 9.5:1 ('85-'86) or 9.3:1 ('87-'92).
