On my 91 Camaro 305 TPI manual tranny sometimes usually after driving it and when hot, the engine wont fire up unless I use starter fluid. Then it will start right away but will rev high even when hot rpms weont come down usually around 2000 rpms, get service engine soon light on. Why would I need to use starter fluid? Any electrical sensor may be failing? Have a new fuel pump although its aftermarket. May need to reinstall fuel pump to AC Delco. Why would the rpms rev so high and wont come down even when hot. If I drive it like this will come a time when the car will shut down alltogether.
