Increasing spark plug gap?

I have a MSD ignition box, Blaster Coil and 8.5mm wires. With that extra power would I be able to open up my plug gap more or would that even help at all?

Re: Increasing spark plug gap?

Factory specs work fine. I run a MSD HVC II coil and still only run .035" plug gap.
