alternator

Am i missing a wire here because my car is not charging the battery but it is putting out voltage.

ya dude wheres the 8 gauge wire to the battery from the positive terminal on the back of the alternator.??

Just wondering you solved the problem. I'm putting my car back together after my engine swap and forgot where all the wires went. Does the large wire from the battery's positive terminal go to the post on the back of the alternator?
