GM Performance Roller Cam for sale
I know that this is the wrong board but I need to spread the word. Sorry to anyone who gets mad at me for this but Im desperate to sell this so that I can get my Camaro started before my registration doubles from $335 to $710 (California tags).
Hi everyone. Im selling this new camshaft that I dont need. It has around 2 hours of idle runtime. I bought this GM Performance cam from Summit Racing. The sales rep that sold it to me told me that It would work in my 86 IROC-Z. After trying to set the timing, trying to get the RPM's to drop to 1000 (high idle rev of 2,500), I finally called the non toll free number to Summit Tech Support. The tech told me the reason that my Camaro wont run right is because the lobe seperation is too much. So with that said, the computer couldnt give me the correct fuel/air ratio mixture. I complained that the sales rep advised me that this would be a perfect cam for my TPI and all I got was "sorry, the cam is installed and the motor has ran." So I need to sell this cam so that I can buy another computer controlled cam. Here is the link so that you can see the specs if needed. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/NAL-14097395
This cam will work on a 350 or 383 block that is carburated only.
As you can see, the price is $159.95. All Im asking for is $110 which includes shipping and you will get a copy of the reciept that verifies my purchase of the cam so that you can see that this cam is not stolen or what not. If not, we can negotiate. thanks fellas. To see a picture of the actual cam, check my profile and click the pictures folder.
