I have an 83 z28 and when I make sharp turns like U turns or come to a stop like at a stop light the car acts like it wants to die or dies. Anyone know what the problem could be?

 

How much gas is in it when this happens?

 

It's a guess but when carburated car do this many times it's the Float.
I think the factory float is plastic and gets soaked such that it actually
fills with fuel and no longer floats properly but sinks.

I'd do a search for "Float" on the forum.

Plenty of gas, ill go ahead and check out the float its on a barrel holley carb.
