Check engine light help.

Well i ripped off the electrical carb and emissions off my car so now of course the car is reading a check engine light. What can i do to get rid of that light. Is their a way to shut that reading off???

I tried searching the forums but couldnt find the awnser. Any reply is very appreciated.

What can i do to get rid of that light.
Put the E4ME carb back on. For daily driving and even most track use it is superior to any aftermarket carburetor anyway. You will also need to address the EGR solenoid. Not having one connected will set the light on. Having one connected won't affect WOT performance one bit, but can save you some fuel mileage and allow you to run more timing advance (more power).

My rochesterquadra jet broke. So i had to replace it with the 1406 i had sitting around. Also my intake manifold doesnt have egr and even if it did it wouldnt fit with my valve covers.
