Re: who knows where this clip is from
It's from the engine bay, not the struts as I haven't removed those.....think it was on a plastic part as I remember thinking, if it doesn't come off in a second it stays or the plastic will probably break
Maybe it was pushed over a hose somewhere and keeps the hose in place? Like on the cruise servo??

I've been inside and out these engines and cannot recall ever seeing that clip.

Ditto, looks like part of a strut clip with the bottom section broken off
I dont recall anything cruise related using a retainer clip. The throttle cam attachment uses a hat style
Not very many clips in an engine bay either

Re: who knows where this clip is from
It can't be from the interior, it has to be from the engine bay or chassis as those are the only fasteners I had plated....

Re: who knows where this clip is from
It IS a broken upper hood strut clip.
I just compared it to my car's sitting right behind me.

Re: who knows where this clip is from
Hummm..how the hell did it get in my batch of rusty bolts destined for the plater? It must have fallen out somewhere and I must have picked it up from the floor. I can sleep now that I know what it is...thanks guys
