camaro died on me today ses light was on and i got code 36
ive got a 89 camaro IROC-Z 350 5.7L and today i went for a little drive and i stopped at a stop light and the car died on me and my ses light came on and i got a code 36 and i tryed starting the car but it wont start back up. if someone could help me it would be much appreciated Thank's

This code usually indicates burnoff relay failure...if the relay checks out then check for openings in the black ground wire or orange power wire between the ecm , fusable links, and or battery

Try changing the two relays by the firewall, ONe is the maf burn off relay and the other one is the maf power relay, i had the same problem but my car actually ran but it ran really rough i changed it and it works much better now.. one of the relays part number at auto zone is MR22 about 12 bucks..
