Can anyone ID this cam? 156 cpc bc 15
Hi fellaz. Im back. Can anyone help me ID this camshaft? Its a stock GM for the 350 block. The cam is a rollar cam. the only stamps on it are 156 cpc bc 15 . Does this number look familiar to anybody? Ive searched the whole web and I cant find anything. The only other cam that comes close to this cam is 155 cpc bc 15 which is the LO3 cam i believe. Thanx guyz.

those numbers are absolutely worthless, and similarities mean nothing. The first clue will be whether or not is has a lobe for a fuel pump. If so, it's a performance cam, if not, it's a production cam. From there, you'll need to use a cam degreeing kit to figure out the specs. Just 2 weeks ago I detailed how to do that.

Atilla the Fun, Whats up. Yes it does have a mechanical fuel pump lobe. The cam came out of this block here
14093638 1987-95 350 4-bolt mains Roller with a 1 piece rear seal.
The issue lies here. We all know that the 86 IROC-Z came out with a 305 LB9 engine. So when I threw a rod, out of curiosity I ran the casting and found out that the block is a 350. So the previous owner had swapped out the 305 and slapped in a 350. So now that I got another 350 (the same exact block as the one I broke), I wanted to know the specs so that I can buy a new cam with the same exact specs because this old one has damage from when the rod disenigrated. So then it must be a performance cam then. Do you have any suggestions to a stock type after market cam. I want to stay stock because I cant afford to tune the ECM at a Dyno shop.
