Hello all, New poster so hopefully you all can help me out

I got a 02 camaro v6 3800 5 speed that is grinding gears when i red line it from first to second. This is the only time this ever happens and I just replaced the clutch on the car a few months ago. Its only when I shift from 1st to 2nd at high rpms. A buddy said it might be a synchro problem but I really dont know enough about the topic to know what it could be. Any thoughts?
