Engine wont run after swap
hey guys, my trans mission went in my 89 rs, so i pulled the old 305 and put a new t5 and a 350, wired it all back up but when i go to turn it over nothing happens, no clicking noise, i believe its the starter? or could the wiring be playing a problem. Put battery on a charger for 3 days and nothing. First engine swap and stumpt.

The starter safety switch is on the shifter for automatics, and clutch for manual transmissions. Did you redo that wiring?

it was always a 5 speed car just 305 tbi and i had a 350 tbi and just switched it over but i was tinkering today and i got the starter able to turn over but wont turn over the motor,i think i have some wire issues i have to deal with thanks for the imput
