my car starts fint ,idle high for bout a minet. then goes down to normale idle 600rpm.. after diven for a few minets it wants to idle rond 1500rpm.. if i put into nuteral and slap the gas once or twice it will mello out and idle 600rpm... its been goin on 4 bout a mounth... if u could help ...

 

Have you done any work on the throttle body lately? I had a similar issue after replacing my intake/plenum gaskets and injectors, setting the IAC fixed it. Instructions are here:

Also, have you checked to make sure the throttle linkage isn't sticking open a little?

 

ya i did take the intake off to clean and ever sence its been given me trubles.. im ganna go adjust that hopefull i have ur luck with it.. thanx
