Engine powers down
I have never had anyone give me a answer to this problem and maybe, you have a answer. I would like different ideas but maybe something concrete. My engine runs good but does need a tune-up but that is not bad either. The problem I am having is, when I turn on my air conditioning, my engine drags down and this happens, when I am in drive and idling. Seems the voltmeter goes down and windshield wipers, go mighty slow and that is in high mode as well. When I turn the air off, the idle works well. The computer checks out to be good, so that is not the problem. They told me, that my air compressor is bad. Would this cause a problem? My vaccum stays at 10 when idling. Sometimes it varys from 8 to 10 when in drive and stopped. Any ideas would help and I am asking for someones help. Thanks

Cool Down
When you turn on the AC the alternator is slowing down to its’ shutoff speed.
It doesn’t matter as long as it turns on when you get on the loud pedal.
Does the air-conditioning system work ok otherwise?
If your compressor was bad it would be making a racket and/or wouldn’t deliver cold air.
It might be the throttle control solenoid or idle air control.

If People Drove Any Slower They’d Be Going Backwards
Fog lights are not driving lights. They look doofy. Turn em off slow pokes.
How bout those nervous nellies too scared to drive without headlights on in the daytime or if there is a little rain!
