Quick questions. Finishing engine install

When wiring I can't remember where to put the ring terminal thats on the other side of the negative battery terminal cable. One side hooks up the battery and I don't remember where the other side hooks up. I thought it was on the alternator but now I can't remember, prolly stupid question but brains fried today and no luck in my cars manual.

Other wire I couldn't find is the one that hooks to the coolant sensor. Was wondering if anyone could tell me what color the wire is and if visible where the wire is coming from. I really don't want to run the engine with out being able to tell the temp.

I'm close to done but entering a state of major burn out, lol. Atleast i'm close tho, motors in the car, most the parts installed. Little more I guess, lol, thanks in advance.

Close, the ground cable goes to the lower alternator bracket. There should be an extra bolt there for it.

The temp gauge wire is green. I'm not familiar with the TPI harness, so I'm not sure where it is in the harness (but there's about a 99% probability it's the same color as the factory carb set-up).

k,I saw that bolt and thought that might be where it goes but with wiring I try to be sure before I do anything. Hate to burn up wires or short things out, lol. I'll hook that up and see if I can find that temp wire, thanks for the info

A ground is a ground is a ground. Doesn't really matter where you put it on the engine as long as it isn't a small wire (or something that also feeds 12v positive).
