Runs Amazing! But is starting like this normal? I dont think so

Ok, my 1990 camaro with an edelbrock 1404 carb runs perfect. when its cold and choked she starts right up. But when its warm its takees forever to start i pump the pedal twice (no choke) I turn the key and it cranks and cranks and finally stumbles to start up and give it gas and it revs and starts. Let it warm a little put in into drive and stalls and repeat the starting process sometimes have to do it 2 or 3 times. Timing is perfect! Runs great! My guess is the carb jets or rods? I heard possibly fuel bowl level. Carb is completely new to me the only thing i can do to it is bolt it up and take it off. Id like to learn. Does anyone think it could be because of the fuel bowl level can i adjust it on my carb and how do i do it. I really dont want to mess with the carb without knowing what im doing because of how good it RUNS also could the two screws in the frront mean anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I learn how to master the carb.

I have this problem, too and I'm not sure what it is. I think your float levels might be off but I'd wait for someone else to answer if I were you

If it really runs great once warm it should fire right up without a problem. At least that's what my lawn mowers do.

How did you tune the car it sound like its flooded. To prove this when this happen rather than pump the pedal hold the pedal to the floor for a min or two and try to start it with the pedal to the floor. If it starts right up its likely its flooded from an overly rich mixture.
