85 Camaro Won't Turn Over
My 85 camaro is in the process of being restored. i already know that it needs a new choke cause the car wont turnover and when i did start it the car was being filled with smoke. im guessing because the choke kept on getting stuck. But i need to know as in why the car would not start.. i replaced the battery. and still wont start

What kind of smoke are you talking--
exhaust, electrical, coolant? A bad choke would make it hard to start but the motor would still turn over.((unless you kept trying to start it till the battery died))
Flooding also leads to a hard star situation.
Take out a spark plug or 2 & see if they're wet with raw gas or have a strong gas odor.
How soon after starting would the smoke start?
What has been worked on B4 the problem?

Re: 85 Camaro Won't Turn Over
The carbon headers was taken off in the previous work done. The smoke is from the engine. The exhaust is working peferctly but now the car wont even start and the choke light wont even come on now. since its not a electic fuel injected i have to pump the gas to get sum gas into the carbuerator. i will check the spark plugs
